2022 Canadian Moose Hunting Opportunities

We have finally rescheduled the last of our moose hunts that were interrupted due to Covid 19. Great news for those who would like to hunt for a Canadian Moose. Great opportunities with an excellent success rate! We have the following tags available for 2022.

Available tags and hunts.

WMU 3 – 1 bull, 2 cow, 1 calf tags

Non Resident Seasons –

  • archery September 17 – October 7
  • rifle October 9 – November 15

South Bay Road is the eastern boundary for WMU 3. From Ear Falls to the 56 km marker at which time it turns to WMU 4 on both sides of the road.

WMU 4 – 1 bull, 1 cow, 1 calf tags

Non Resident Seasons –

  • archery September 17 – October 7
  • rifle October 9 – November 15

South Bay is the western boundary for WMU 4 until the 56km marker at which time it is all WMU 4 up to the 75km marker.

WMU 16A – 4 bull, 3 cow, 7 calf tags.

Non Resident Seasons –

  • archery – a hunter can hunt with a bow. However they must wear hunter orange
  • rifle September 19 – November 15

WMU 16A begins 25 km north of camp via South Bay Rd. It is considered an early rifle season zone.

Due to the unknown status of our moose guides at this time, we are conducting Do-it-yourself hunts. If the status of our guides changes, then we can look at booking guide days.

For an archery hunt, hunters are permitted to use a crossbow to hunt. As long as it meets the regulation requirements.
