Fishing in July

It was my first time. Marked it off my bucket list and will go back. My uncle has been going up for years. My dad and brother have been up there before also. The week was great, weather was fantastic. We got to see Caribou and black bear along with many Bald Eagles. Paul and Deb are great people and feel like family. The food was great, things to do for kids as we had teenagers with us. Spending time with family & friends is what it is all about. I love the outdoors so will be back in the future for a week of relaxation and fishing.

We just got home from a great week of fishing. Our group range from 76 to 4 years old and there was something for everyone. We caught a lot of fish, with some really nice ones. We threw back about as many walleye ( to big ) as we kept. Debbie and Paul could not have been nicer. We had a great time with Ricky, our guide. Hope to see you all in the near future!

Moose Hunt

This will be my third year hunting at Woman River Camp with Paul and Deb. They truly have a wonderful camp and go out of their way to do everything they can do to make your stay enjoyable. Will be looking forward to another great experience again this year.

Best Camp in NW Ontario

I have been fishing the Woman River system for the 37 years...the last 15/16 from Woman River Camp. WRC is without a doubt the best value you will find. The accommodations, cabins, boats, service and equipment are unmatched. I always book my next visit to WRC as I finish my current one.....I don't want to miss out! The BEST part of going to Woman River Camp, beyond the good fishing and memorable experience, is beyond a doubt the great hosts and hospitality of Paul, Debbie and Winchester. Once you've been you will want to come back again and again. I know I will as long as I can. WRC is absolutely the best you can wish for.

Woman River Camp

As an avid fisherman and prior lodge owner of South Bay Lodge (now Woman River Camp Outpost on Confederation Lake). I am so happy to see what Paul and Deb are doing to both camps. I while I can't make it back this summer I did go up a couple times in the last few years and I can tell you stories about the fishing but most readers would not believe me so I won't talk about that....but I have to say Lake Trout average sizes are increasing, Northern Pike are more plentiful than ever, and the Walleye fishing was off the chart! Now for the believable part..camp improvements are never ending, new cabins, new boats and great customer service. Assuming they still do the weekly camp cook-outs its a vacation you will treasure forever and one you will lay awake at night thinking about your next trip to Woman River Camp. I won't miss a return trip next year! If you are too late to get a reservation for 2020 put this one on your bucket list for 2021 book early most of their business is repeat and you will be disappointed if you wait too long!

Thanks Roger, your words are too kind. We look forward to your next adventure with us!

I have been fishing in Canada for nearly 40 years starting out as a kid going with my dad and uncles. I have fished multiple locations in Ontario, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. I even enjoyed the adventure of trying new waters every year that is until we made our first visit to Woman River Camp back in 2007. Ever since that trip we have found the location we would like to call our 2nd home. The combination of great equipment, cabins, excellent fishing and most importantly fantastic people in Debbie and Paul are hard to beat. Plenty of accessible water gives a feeling of a remote camp without having other boats crowd you and safe conditions on those windy days is a big plus to us. I would highly recommend either the main camp or the outposts as we have used both. Give them a try, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Good People

I have fished numerous times in Canada, until Woman River Camp we always went home wanting to try a new location the next time. Not anymore, Paul and Debbie are the best. Its not just the good fishing, we have good days and bad days, thats fishing, it boils down to how they treat you and the entire experience. There is nothing fancy, very simple and not over commercialized yet convenient. Its perfect for me!

We are on our 4th year in a row and I hope that my family grows that streak to 20 + years!
