Ice is here!
The recent cold front which has been hanging around for a week now has made some really good ice! We have 6 inches and counting. Now if we could get some snow and move away from the -28C we will be ice fishing! Lake Trout opens January 1st!

Moose Hunting
October is here! September went out with a bang. Great Walleye fishing and a pile of Northern Pike over 40 inches. Well it is just about back to school time! I don’t think we even had a summer this year. Fishing has been pretty good though. No worries about fire restrictions up here at Woman River Camp. We are presently sitting with the second highest water levels seen in my 20 years in the north. Well, we believe summer has arrived at Woman River Camp. Late but here. Warm weather, sunshine, showers and a nice Walleye chop! Fishing Report
The weather may be cool but the fish are active! Water temperatures are still in the low 50’s. When warm water is found, so are the fish.
