Ice is here!

The recent cold front which has been hanging around for a week now has made some really good ice! We have 6 inches and counting. Now if we could get some snow and move away from the -28C we will be ice fishing! Lake Trout opens January 1st!

Moose Hunting

Winding Down

Kids are back in school and the leaves are slowly turning colour.  Hints that fall is approaching.  Our fishing season is winding down.  Bear hunting is over and small game just started today.  I better start cutting next years firewood. Well it is just about back to school time! I don’t think we even had a summer this year. Fishing has been pretty good though. Rain Rain Rain and more Rain

No worries about fire restrictions up here at Woman River Camp. We are presently sitting with the second highest water levels seen in my 20 years in the north.
